The Grey Reef tail water is an excellent trout fishery. Clear, cool water from the reservoir maintains optimum water temperatures for trout populations and year round fishing opportunities.

"Rich Feitel" Fly Fishing the North Platte River

 

Dear Crazy Rainbow,

I want to take this opportunity to let you know what a great time my son, my brother-in-law, my good friend, and I had when we stayed at the Crazy Rainbow Lodge in June. What wonderful people you have working for you! Everyone we came in contact with while booking the trip (especially Bob and Pat) were so nice to us. It greatly influenced our decision to come back again next year.

Incredibly Productive Fishing in Wyoming

I have been communicating by email with Blake Jackson about possible dates in June. He was my guide in August of last year when my wife and I spent a day on the North Platte while in Casper, and again for three of the four days my group was there last June. Let me tell you, he is the best!! I have spent many days in my lifetime on the water with other guides and have never found one as knowledgeable, patient, and productive as he is. Blake is one of the primary reasons that we decided to come back last June and again next June. I’m sure you know how fortunate you are to have him working for the Ugly Bug and Crazy Rainbow.

 

I’ll give Bob a call to book dates for the lodge. I am looking forward to another week at the lodge and more days of incredibly productive fishing.
