"Greg G. Groves" Fly Fishing the Miracle Mile

When you live in the vicinity of some of the best big fish fly fishing in the country, you tend to focus on wading. Most of my friends fish at least 100 days a year. They regularly land large rainbows and browns. What they miss is the experience of spending a day floating and wade fishing with a guide. Blake Jackson and his team of guides at Crazy Rainbow are the finest I’ve ever spent a day with. Their knowledge of the North Platte, from Miracle Mile, Freemont Canyon, Grey Reef and beyond, is unrivaled. After 50 years of fly fishing, every time I spend a day with Blake, I learn something new about fly fishing.

"Harvey Jackson" Platte River Fly Fishing Affair
I am a local Wyoming resident of 30+ years, and I have only just now realized that I am living a two hour drive away from one of the best, if not the best, trout fishery in the world. I have been having an affair with the Platte River trout for years now and they have never disappointed me - not once.

I have fished all over the world and I always come back to this small stretch of the Platte River in Casper, Wyoming for unforgettable fishing experiences. I enjoy taking my clients and their friends on a Crazy Rainbow guided trip as the guides always have such vast knowledge of where the fish are in a river almost impossible to discern.
A little riverside BBQ is always a treat after a hard morning fighting fish. I would not only recommend the Crazy Rainbow guide service, I would say they have provided, and will provide continued memorable experiences of a lifetime.

"Carl W. Eshbaugh" Fly Fishing the Grey Reef
Dear Sirs:
I wanted to write to tell you how much my family and I appreciated the professionalism and help provided by Jon, Thomas and Mark during our guided fly fishing trips on Grey Reef during June 28 and 29th of this year. I have fished Grey Reef on numerous other occasions, but this year the conditions were unique and without the assistance of your guides, we could not have had the fishing success we enjoyed. John was the guide for my wife Laura. Both Laura and I were especially pleased in having the opportunity to sight cast to specific trout under John’s guidance. I have caught larger trout in the past, but have never experienced trout that were as healthy and heavy for their size. I sincerely doubt that I will ever experience another two consecutive days of similar fishing, although I hope to return to Grey Reef on many occasions in the future in an attempt to duplicate the experience I had with Jon.
I was especially hopeful that my daughter-in-law Jessica would have a good experience during our vacation in Wyoming. Prior to our float trips she had constantly complained because we were not going to Yellowstone Park. After being guided by Thomas and Mark during the two float trips that she and my son made, all she could talk about was fly fishing and southern Wyoming. Your guides more than fulfilled my desires for the kind of experience I wanted Jessica to have.
I am somewhat hopeful that before my daughter returns to law school in the fall, she and I will be able to return to Grey Reef and fish for a couple of days. If such a trip becomes a possibility, I will certainly be contacting you with the hopes of scheduling guided floats.
Thanks again for a once-in-a-lifetime experience.
Yours truly,
Carl W. Eshbaugh
