Hope everybody had a great Labor Day weekend. Good reports came back from all our boats that were spread out all across the river. Dry fly fishing in the morning with tricos on the upper river along with
grasshoppers and some evening caddis hatches in the afternoon and evening. Nymphing remains the key right now with natural colored pine squirrel leeches, san juan worms in red and wine, soft hackle hares ears, scuds and clouser crawdads have been the go to bugs. With cooler weather arriving the streamer fishing should really start to pick up as well.
The Grey Reef section of the river has dropped and is as approx. 3,000 cfs.
Fall fishing is here and it is not to late to call the shop and book your next adventure with us!!
