We dunked a couple of UPG(Umpqua Professional Guide) boxes and no water entered either box. These boxes are built hell for stout and are considered waterproof. They will keep your new flies in new condition, even if you take a swim.
Remember that waterproof boxes don't breath. Don't put soggy flies back into waterproof boxes until they have been completely dried or you will have rust on your hooks and deterioration of organic fly parts.
UPG Lids are transparent, so that identification of what is in each box is easy.
UPG boxes feature the Fly Trap™ Foam System, which incorporates precut slits into the foam.
